Dantex Digital has further expanded its Pico range with the launch of the new PicoColour 254HD.

Representing the next step in PicoColour development, the PicoColour 254HD is built on the PicoJet platform. Offering 2.5 pl dot size, with an effective resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, this new press runs at an increased speed of 164 fpm (50m/m). PicoColour 254HD is also available with compact inline finishing, offering a finished reel ready for the applicator. Offering excellent printed results and suitable for short and long run jobs, this new press provides all the benefits of digital printing at a highly competitive price for today’s demanding production environment, including no minimum quantity, no waste and fast turnaround times.

With the addition of PicoColour 254HD, the Pico range now covers five different UV inkjet digital presses: the popular PicoColour 210 Classic, PicoColour 254HD, PicoJet 254, PicoJet 330i (164 fpm, 50 m/m) and the flagship PicoJet 330S high speed model, operating at 250 fpm (75 m/m). All PicoJet and PicoColour 254HD digital presses offer a 2.5 PL dot size and resolution at 1200 x 1200 dpi.

Built on a modular platform, each of the three PicoJet models are available as hybrids and can incorporate a wide range of inline finishing options, including diecutting, lamination, backslit/edge trim, slitting and cold foiling.

Formed in 2015, Dantex Digital is responsible for the development of the group’s digital printing presses. Both PicoColour and PicoJet digital presses have been developed by Dantex Digital’s Advance Engineering Team, offering optimum performance digital label printing solutions to the industry. PicoColour and PicoJet ranges are manufactured in Dantex’s Kettering-based purpose-built, state-of-the-art engineering facility.
